SARATOGA, Calif. (Interstat) — The West Valley Vikings look to continue their strong start when they host the San Diego City Knights in a California men’s junior college basketball game on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

West Valley (1-0) opened its season with an 82-66 victory over Compton on Oct. 31. The Vikings are projected as heavy favorites, with Interstat’s ELO system giving them a 72% probability to win.

San Diego City (1-1) is coming off a 76-67 road loss to Yuba on Thursday. In that game, Junior Camacho led the Knights with 24 points in 23 minutes of play. Dylan Griffin nearly recorded a double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds.

The Knights’ season began with a 90-88 home win over East Los Angeles on Nov. 1.

This non-conference matchup is the first of a challenging stretch for both teams. West Valley will host Lemoore on Nov. 12 before a road test at Fresno City. San Diego City’s next contest is at home against Barstow on Nov. 21.
