ORANGE, Calif. (Interstat) — The Santiago Canyon Hawks look to build on a season-opening win when they host the Chaffey Panthers in a California men’s junior college basketball matchup on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

Santiago Canyon (1-0) opened its season with an 81-69 victory over MiraCosta on Wednesday. Chaffey (1-1) is looking to rebound after a 102-81 road loss to Santa Ana that same night. In that defeat, Deisyn Payne led the Panthers with 15 points, while Kajuan Thomas added 11 points and five rebounds.

The Panthers opened their season with a narrow 85-84 home win over Cerritos on Oct. 31.

Friday’s contest is the first of a busy November slate for both teams. Chaffey will host Los Angeles Trade Tech on Nov. 12, while Santiago Canyon will host Antelope Valley on Nov. 13.
