BOONEVILLE, Miss. (Interstat) — The Northeast Mississippi Tigers defeated the Itawamba Indians 75-63 in a men’s junior college basketball game Monday. The Tigers used a dominant second-half performance, outscoring the Indians 41-31 after the break to secure the win. Northeast Mississippi’s offense was efficient, led by Ezekiel Udozorh with 16 points and Javion Stephen with 14 points and six assists. Damarion Winston and DJ Davis each scored 16 points for Itawamba in the losing effort. The Tigers improved to 2-1 on the season, while the Indians fell to an even 4-4.
