WEATHERFORD, Texas (Interstat) — The Weatherford College Coyotes, seeking to snap a three-game skid, will host the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Weatherford (1-4) enters the contest after a 79-66 home loss to Murray State (Okla.) on Thursday. Their lone victory this season came on the road against Tyler, 65-58, on Nov. 8. The Coyotes have struggled defensively, allowing an average of 76.8 points per game during their current 1-4 start.

Florida SouthWestern State will be playing its first game of the 2025-26 season. The Buccaneers’ last official result was a narrow 66-65 loss to Northwest Florida State on March 13, 2024.

The game marks the start of a challenging stretch for both teams. Following Friday’s contest, Weatherford travels to face Western Texas on Tuesday. Florida SouthWestern begins a three-game homestand against Monroe on Nov. 20.
