TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The undefeated Tallahassee State Eagles will put their perfect record on the line when they host the Santa Fe Saints in a men’s junior college basketball game on Wednesday.

Tallahassee State (3-0) is coming off a narrow 78-76 victory over Central Georgia this past Saturday. The Eagles have opened their season with three consecutive wins, including a 71-56 road victory against South Georgia Tech on Nov. 5.

Santa Fe (0-0) will be playing its first game of the season. The Saints’ most productive players from their last contest, played decades ago, were Rodmik Allen (18 points), Trey Card (10 points, 5 rebounds) and Shane Cherry (13 points).

The Eagles will look to continue their strong start before a three-game homestand next week. The Saints begin a challenging schedule that sees them play 10 games before the end of January, including a rematch with Tallahassee State in Santa Fe on Dec. 16.

Tipoff is set for Wednesday night at Tallahassee State.
