GLENDIVE, Mont. (Interstat) — The Dawson men’s basketball team looks to continue its undefeated start to the season when it hosts the struggling Eastern Wyoming Lancers in a junior college matchup on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

The Buccaneers (2-0) have opened the season with a pair of dominant offensive performances, averaging 116.5 points per game. They are coming off a 115-75 road victory over Miles Community College this past Sunday. Kai Guess led the scoring in that contest with 21 points.

Eastern Wyoming (0-2) is seeking its first win after dropping its first two games on the road. The Lancers fell 81-66 at North Platte on Saturday and 76-61 at McCook the day before. They have been outscored by an average of 16 points in those losses.

A statistical projection from Interstat presents a conflicting outlook for the game. The service’s game simulator forecasts a 100-100 tie, while its ELO rating system gives Dawson a 76.4% probability of winning.

Following this contest, Dawson will travel to face Allegany College of Maryland on Nov. 15. Eastern Wyoming’s next game is at home against Western Nebraska on Nov. 11.
