MILES, Mont. (Interstat) — In a high-scoring men’s junior college basketball upset, the Eastern Wyoming Lancers defeated the Miles Pioneers 93-79 on Thursday night, overcoming a significant pregame projection that favored the home team. The Lancers, now 1-2, seized control early with a dominant first-half offensive display. They exploded for 48 points in the opening quarter and added 45 more in the second to take a commanding 93-79 lead into halftime.
