RALEIGH, N.C. (Interstat) — Isaiah McCray scored 24 points to lead the Polk State Eagles to an 89-63 victory over the Wake Tech Eagles in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. Polk State used a torrent of three-pointers, making 17 from beyond the arc, to build a commanding lead and secure its first win of the season, moving to 1-1. Wake Tech, which shot just 3 for 20 from three-point range, fell to 0-2. Josh Pitts added 20 points for Polk State, while Jaiden Shephard pulled down 12 rebounds for Wake Tech in the losing effort.
