Pratt vs Indian Hills
OTTUMWA, Iowa (Interstat) — The Pratt Community College Beavers and Indian Hills Community College Warriors will tip off their 2025-26 men’s basketball seasons against each other on Friday, Oct. 31, in a junior college non-conference matchup.
Both teams enter the season opener with 0-0 records, looking for a fresh start after their 2023-24 campaigns ended in road losses. Pratt fell 88-77 at Coffeyville on March 9, 2024, while Indian Hills dropped its finale 93-78 at Barton on March 28, 2024.
The game at the Hellyer Center will be the first of a challenging opening slate for both squads. For Pratt, the contest begins a two-game road trip that continues at New Mexico Junior College on Nov. 9. The Beavers’ first home game is scheduled for Nov. 19 against Fort Hays Tech.
Indian Hills will have little time to rest after its opener, hosting Cloud County the very next day, Nov. 1, before embarking on a road game at Dodge City on Nov. 4. The Warriors’ early schedule is packed, featuring a four-game homestand in November against Malcolm X, John A. Logan, Salt Lake, and Lincoln Trail.
Friday’s Halloween showdown will provide the first look at new personnel and early-season form for both programs as they aim to build momentum before the heart of their conference schedules.
