DOUGLAS, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Cochise College Apaches and Community Christian College Saints will open their men’s junior college basketball seasons against each other on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records. The game marks the official start of the 2025-26 campaign for each program.

The Apaches last took the court in March 2024, falling 63-60 to Eastern Arizona. The Saints have not played a game since February 2022, when they lost 99-56 to Southern Nevada.

This Halloween matchup in Douglas is the first of a two-game series between the schools. They are scheduled to meet again at Cochise College on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The game will tip off a challenging early schedule for Community Christian, which will play its first six games on the road. Cochise will play its next three games at home following the series with the Saints.
