COLUMBIA, Mo. (Interstat) — The Columbia (Mo.) Cougars dominated UHSP 98-55 in a men’s NAIA basketball game Thursday at the Arena of Southwell Complex. The Cougars established a commanding lead with 48 first-quarter points and never trailed, extending their advantage after a 50-point second quarter. Columbia (Mo.), which improved to 24-3, overwhelmed UHSP from the opening tip. The loss dropped UHSP to 3-23 on the season. The teams met for the second time in a week, with Columbia winning both contests decisively.
