Georgetown (Ky.) vs Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (Interstat) — A tightly contested NAIA men’s basketball rivalry adds another chapter Thursday night when the Georgetown Tigers visit the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders at Biggers Sports Center.

The matchup features two Mid-South Conference teams jockeying for postseason position in late February. Georgetown (17-7) brings a two-game winning streak into Columbia, while Lindsey Wilson (15-9) looks to defend its home court and avenge a narrow loss earlier this month.

The Tigers edged the Blue Raiders 83-81 on Feb. 2 in Georgetown. Isaiah Mason, a key player for the Tigers, scored 10 points in that victory. Mason enters this rematch in strong form, averaging a double-double over his last seven games. He is coming off a 21-point, 11-rebound performance in an 88-72 win at Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday.

Lindsey Wilson counters with high-scoring freshman Kenyata Carbon, who poured in 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in an 88-78 road win at Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday. Carbon was held to 17 points in the first meeting with Georgetown, but his recent outbursts, including another 33-point game on Feb. 5, make him a constant threat.

Georgetown’s offense has been potent, averaging 86.5 points in its last two outings. Alongside Mason, Darien Lewis (24 points vs. Cumberland) and Zion Harmon (18 points, 7 assists vs. Cumberland) provide additional scoring punch.

Lindsey Wilson’s results have been inconsistent, with a 3-3 record in its last six games. Following Saturday’s win, the Blue Raiders suffered an 87-56 loss at Freed-Hardeman on Feb. 12, highlighting their volatility.

The game is the only scheduled meeting between the schools this week. Georgetown will host Campbellsville on Saturday, while Lindsey Wilson travels to face Cumberlands (Ky.).

Tipoff is set for Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026. The game will not be televised nationally.
