WILMINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — The Dayton Flyers used a strong second half to defeat the UNC Wilmington Seahawks 80-61 in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Saturday at Trask Coliseum.

Dayton led 37-33 at halftime before outscoring the Seahawks 43-28 after the break. The Flyers improved to 25-10 overall, while UNC Wilmington fell to 27-7. An announced crowd of 5,038 watched the game, where Dayton covered the pregame spread as a 2.5-point favorite. The total score went under the projected over/under line.
