NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Interstat) — Vanderbilt avenged an earlier loss to Florida with a decisive 91-74 victory in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.

The Commodores built a 13-point halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half. Tyler Tanner led Vanderbilt with 20 points and eight assists. Duke Miles added 15 points and seven assists.

Thomas Haugh paced Florida with 19 points and nine rebounds. The Gators, which had beaten Vanderbilt in January, could not overcome a cold first-half shooting performance.

Both teams are now 26-7 overall.
