WASHINGTON (Interstat) — Hofstra captured the Colonial Athletic Association tournament championship Sunday, overwhelming William & Mary 92-61 at CareFirst Arena. The Pride built a 50-33 halftime lead and never relented, securing an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Cruz Davis led Hofstra with 30 points and five assists, earning tournament MVP honors. German Plotnikov added 17 points for the Pride, which improved to 22-10. Jo’el Emanuel scored 16 points for the Tribe, which finished its season at 20-12. Hofstra shot 54% from the field while William & Mary managed just 34%.
