Charlotte at South Florida

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Interstat) — The Charlotte 49ers will look to halt a surging South Florida squad and snap a two-game skid when they visit the Bulls on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in a regular-season finale with potential postseason implications.

Charlotte (15-15) enters the contest after a narrow 80-74 home loss to UAB on Wednesday. The 49ers have lost four of their last six, with three of those defeats coming by five points or fewer. Guard Ben Bradford has been a consistent bright spot, averaging 16.4 points over his last seven games, including a 20-point, 12-rebound, five-assist effort in a Feb. 15 loss to Texas-San Antonio. Arden Conyers, who scored 19 against UAB, provides secondary scoring.

They face a formidable challenge in South Florida (22-8), which rides a seven-game winning streak into the matchup. The Bulls are coming off an impressive 96-89 road victory at Memphis on Thursday, powered by a career-high 29 points from dynamic guard Wes Enis. Enis has been on a tear, averaging 22.9 points during the winning streak and scoring 25 or more in three of his last five outings. His backcourt mate, Josh Omojafo, added 21 points against Memphis.

The Bulls have dominated at home during their streak, winning by an average of 24.3 points in their last three home games at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. Their only home loss since Jan. 31 was a one-point setback against Temple.

For Charlotte to pull the upset, they will need to contain Enis’s offensive explosion and find a way to close out a tight game, a struggle in recent weeks. South Florida will aim to continue its high-octane offense, which has surpassed 80 points in five of the last seven games, to secure a strong seeding for the upcoming conference tournament.

Tip-off is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The game will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
