Florida A&M at Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. (Interstat) — The undefeated Georgia Bulldogs look to continue their dominant start to the season when they host the struggling Florida A&M Rattlers in a non-conference men’s basketball game Monday night at Stegeman Coliseum.

Georgia (4-0) is coming off a 92-87 victory over in-state rival Georgia Tech on Friday. Blue Cain and Jeremiah Wilkinson each scored 18 points to lead a balanced Bulldogs offense that has averaged 102.5 points per game through its first four contests.

The Rattlers (0-3), conversely, are searching for their first win after a difficult opening stretch. Florida A&M is allowing 97 points per game and is coming off a 97-60 road loss to UCF on Tuesday. Devere Palmer and Anthony Knowles were the top scorers in that contest with nine and 12 points, respectively.

The Bulldogs have won their home games by an average margin of 51 points, including a 120-81 rout of Morehead State on Nov. 9. Florida A&M’s three losses have all been by 20 or more points.

This game is the first of a two-game road trip for the Rattlers, who play next at Jacksonville on Dec. 2. Georgia will travel to face Xavier in Charleston, South Carolina, on Nov. 21 in its next outing.
