CORVALLIS, Ore. (Interstat) — Oregon State outscored San Diego by 10 points in overtime to secure a 92-82 men’s basketball victory Wednesday night at Gill Coliseum.

The Beavers, who led 35-32 at halftime, saw the Toreros force an extra period by winning the second half 46-43. Oregon State then dominated the overtime period 14-4 to pull away. The win improved Oregon State to 16-14 this season, while San Diego fell to 11-19.

The game was a rematch of a Jan. 31 meeting, also won by Oregon State in overtime. An announced crowd of 2,626 watched the Beavers complete the regular-season sweep. Oregon State was a 6.5-point pregame favorite, and the total score surpassed the over/under line of 143.5.
