VERMILLION, S.D. (Interstat) — South Dakota overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Oral Roberts 77-69 in a Summit League men’s basketball game Thursday night at DakotaDome before 1,232 fans.

The Golden Eagles led 37-31 at halftime, but the Coyotes dominated the second half, outscoring Oral Roberts 46-32. Uzziah Buntyn led South Dakota with 26 points, while Cameron Fens added 25 points and three blocks. Ty Harper scored 23 points for Oral Roberts.

South Dakota capitalized at the free-throw line, making 25 of 37 attempts, and scored 14 points off 10 Oral Roberts turnovers. The Coyotes improved to 12-11 overall. The Golden Eagles fell to 5-18.
