FARGO, N.D. (Interstat) — Trevian Carson scored 16 points and Treyson Anderson added 11 points and nine rebounds as North Dakota State held off Saint Thomas (Minn.) 68-65 in a Summit League men’s basketball game Saturday at Scheels Arena.

The Bison (16-5) led 34-35 at halftime and maintained a narrow margin throughout the second half. The Tommies (15-5) closed to within one point in the final minute, but Damari Wheeler-Thomas’ layup with 27 seconds left secured the win for North Dakota State.

Nolan Minessale led Saint Thomas with 16 points and six assists. Isaiah Johnson-Arigu added 15 points for the Tommies, who had a four-game winning streak snapped before a crowd of 2,954.
