North Carolina A&T at Davidson
DAVIDSON, N.C. (Interstat) — The Davidson Wildcats look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they host the surging North Carolina A&T Aggies in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday at Belk Arena.
Davidson (5-1) saw its five-game winning streak snapped in a 94-60 blowout loss to Utah State on Sunday. The Wildcats, who had previously held opponents to an average of 62.8 points, will need to tighten their defense against a hot-shooting Aggies squad.
North Carolina A&T (3-1) arrives with a three-game winning streak, most recently a 79-73 road victory at Morgan State on Nov. 18. Lewis Walker led the Aggies in that contest, scoring 24 points. Will Felton added 15 points off the bench.
The Aggies’ only blemish is a 91-72 season-opening road loss to South Carolina. Davidson’s resume includes a road win against Boston College and a victory over Washington State.
Following this matchup, Davidson will host The Citadel on Dec. 4. North Carolina A&T’s next game is at Charlotte on Dec. 3.
