Manhattan at Texas A&M
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Interstat) — Two teams with identical records will meet Friday when the Manhattan Jaspers face the Texas A&M Aggies in a non-conference men’s basketball game at Reed Arena.
Both teams enter the 7 p.m. CST tipoff at 3-2. The Jaspers are coming off an 80-73 home victory over Mississippi Valley State on Saturday. Manhattan’s backcourt led the way, with Devin Dinkins scoring 22 points and Jaden Winston adding 14 points and six rebounds. Fraser Roxburgh contributed 19 points in the win.
The Aggies are also looking to build on a recent home victory, having defeated Montana 86-81 on Tuesday. Rylan Griffen paced Texas A&M with 17 points, while Ruben Dominguez and Pop Isaacs added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
The matchup presents a contrast in early-season schedules. Manhattan’s three wins have all come at home, including a 125-point outburst against St. Joseph’s, but the Jaspers are 0-2 in true road games, suffering decisive losses at Southern California and Hawaii.
Texas A&M is 3-0 at Reed Arena this season, but dropped both of its road contests at UCF and Oklahoma State by double digits.
Following this game, the Aggies will host Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday. The Jaspers’ next contest is at home against Wagner on Nov. 26.
