BRYN MAWR, Pa. (Interstat) — Villanova used a balanced offensive attack to defeat Xavier 91-78 in a Big East Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at The Pavilion.

The Wildcats led 44-32 at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half before a crowd of 6,501. Duke Brennan powered Villanova with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Acaden Lewis added 14 points and 12 assists.

Jovan Milicevic led Xavier with 21 points. The Musketeers fell to 14-17 overall, while Villanova improved to 24-7. The Wildcats swept the regular-season series, having also won in overtime on Feb. 17.
