UCLA Dominates Southern California in Crosstown Showdown

LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — UCLA cruised past Southern California 81-62 in a men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Pauley Pavilion.

The Bruins led 38-29 at halftime and pulled away in the second half before a crowd of 13,659. The victory improved UCLA’s record to 19-9, while the Trojans fell to 18-10. The game was a Big Ten Conference matchup.

UCLA’s balanced attack proved too much for Southern California, which lost its second straight game. The Bruins were installed as a 5.5-point pregame favorite and exceeded that margin with ease. The teams are scheduled to meet again March 7 at Southern California.
