LEIPSIC, Del. (Interstat) — Howard cruised to a 91-59 men’s basketball victory over Delaware State on Monday night at Memorial Hall. The Bison seized control with a 51-point first half, leading by 25 at halftime and never looking back in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game.

Bryce Harris and Cedric Taylor each scored 17 points to lead Howard. Cam Gillus added 13 points and seven assists for the Bison, who improved to 17-10 overall. Dean Shepherd scored 10 points for the Hornets, who fell to 6-18. An announced crowd of 663 watched as Howard completed a regular-season sweep of Delaware State.
