GREELEY, Colo. (Interstat) — Brock Wisne had 13 points and nine rebounds as Northern Colorado held off Eastern Washington 74-71 in a Big Sky Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Butler-Hancock Athletic Center.

The Bears, who improved to 13-10, led 32-31 at halftime and outscored the Eagles 42-40 after intermission. Ring Nyeri led all scorers with 23 points for Northern Colorado. Alton Hamilton paced Eastern Washington with 17 points and eight rebounds.

The Eagles, who fell to 5-17, were led by Hamilton and Kiree Huie, who added 12 points. An announced crowd of 1,708 watched the game.
