OMAHA, Neb. (Interstat) — Austin Swartz scored 33 points as Creighton edged Georgetown 86-83 in overtime Tuesday night in a Big East men’s basketball game at a sold-out CenturyLink Center.

The Bluejays, who led 38-36 at halftime, needed a late push to force overtime after the Hoyas’ second-half rally. Creighton secured the win by outscoring Georgetown 10-7 in the extra period. Swartz hit six 3-pointers for Creighton (11-7). Malik Mack led Georgetown (9-8) with 17 points. The Hoyas dominated inside with 50 paint points but were undone by 13 Creighton 3-pointers and 15 fastbreak points.
