UNIVERSITY PARK, N.M. (Interstat) — The undefeated New Mexico State Aggies will put their perfect start on the line when they host the Samford Bulldogs in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday at the Pan American Center.

New Mexico State (3-0) is coming off a 76-68 victory over in-state rival New Mexico on Nov. 15. The Aggies have also posted home wins over N.M. Highlands and Adams State to begin the season.

Samford (3-3) looks to rebound from a 77-62 home loss to Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have shown resilience this season, winning two of their three games in overtime, including an 84-77 victory at Central Arkansas on Nov. 16 and a 93-90 win at Texas Southern on Nov. 12.

The game marks the start of a challenging road trip for the Bulldogs, who will play at Georgia State and Utah Valley next week. The Aggies will also hit the road following this contest, traveling to face UC Irvine on Tuesday.
