Fairleigh Dickinson at Saint Peter`s

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (Interstat) — Two New Jersey men’s basketball teams seeking their first win of the season will meet Saturday when Fairleigh Dickinson visits Saint Peter’s at the Yanitelli Center.

Both the Knights (0-1) and Peacocks (0-1) are coming off 50-point offensive performances in road losses to high-major opponents on Monday. Fairleigh Dickinson fell 88-50 at Iowa State, while Saint Peter’s was defeated 77-50 at Seton Hall.

Fairleigh Dickinson will look to forward David Jevtic, who led the team with 14 points and six rebounds against the Cyclones. Taeshaud Jackson added nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Saint Peter’s was paced by TJ Robinson’s 11 points in its opener. J’Quan Ewing pulled down eight rebounds for the Peacocks.

The intrastate matchup offers an early opportunity for both teams to build momentum before challenging road contests next week. Fairleigh Dickinson travels to Texas on Nov. 12, and Saint Peter’s plays at VCU the same day.
