COLUMBIA, Mo. (Interstat) — Mark Mitchell scored 29 points to lead Missouri to an 89-84 victory over Southeast Missouri State in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Friday night at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers improved to 2-0, while the Redhawks fell to 0-2. Missouri led 46-51 at halftime but was outscored in the second half. Braxton Stacker led Southeast Missouri State with 26 points, and Luke Almodovar added 24. The game drew an attendance of 11,314.
