Kansas Holds Off Oklahoma State Rally for Big 12 Road Win

STILLWATER, Okla. (Interstat) — The Kansas Jayhawks built a large early lead and withstood a second-half push to defeat the Oklahoma State Cowboys 81-69 in a Big 12 Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Kansas led 43-29 at halftime behind a dominant opening stretch. The Jayhawks’ efficient offense, which shot 45.9% from the field and made 11 3-pointers, proved decisive. Darryn Peterson scored 23 points for Kansas, while Tre White added 16.

Oklahoma State’s Parsa Fallah scored 21 points and Anthony Roy had 16, fueling a second-half effort where the Cowboys outscored Kansas 40-38. But the Cowboys shot just 34.8% overall and 25% from 3-point range, unable to fully close the gap. Kansas improved to 20-6, while Oklahoma State fell to 16-10.
