BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Interstat) — Fairfield edged Marist 63-60 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Webster Bank Arena. The Stags avenged a loss to the Red Foxes from three weeks prior.

Braden Sparks led Fairfield with 20 points, including a critical 3-pointer late. Justin Menard scored 18 for Marist. The Stags capitalized on turnovers, scoring 23 points off 12 Marist giveaways. Both teams shot under 42% from the floor. Fairfield improved to 16-10, while Marist fell to 16-8. Attendance was 2,090.
