ST. LOUIS (Interstat) — Saint Louis dominated La Salle 82-58 in an Atlantic 10 men’s basketball game Saturday at Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens improved to 23-1 overall, while the Explorers fell to 7-17.

Saint Louis seized control with efficient shooting, making 13 of 30 three-pointers and 27 of 53 shots overall. La Salle struggled offensively, shooting just 21 for 64 from the floor. Rob Dockery led the Explorers with 19 points and eight rebounds. The Billikens had a balanced attack, with Ishan Sharma scoring 15 points and Quentin Jones adding 13 points, six rebounds and four blocks.

A decisive 22-6 advantage in fastbreak points fueled Saint Louis, which never trailed after the opening minutes. The Billikens swept the regular-season series, having also won on Jan. 10.
