AMES, Iowa (Interstat) — Iowa State dominated UCF 87-57 in a Big 12 men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones, now 17-2, led 44-26 at halftime and cruised past the Knights before a crowd of 14,267. UCF fell to 14-4. Iowa State’s efficient offense overwhelmed the visitors from the opening tip, maintaining a lead of at least 18 points throughout the second half. The victory marked a return to form for the Cyclones following a road loss in their previous contest. UCF, which had won three of its last four, struggled to find consistent offense against Iowa State’s defense.
