TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — Paul Djobet scored 25 points to lead Omaha to a 73-62 victory over Oral Roberts in a Summit League men’s basketball game Saturday at Mabee Center.

The Mavericks never trailed, building a 36-30 halftime lead and maintaining control throughout the second half. Oral Roberts’ Ofri Naveh led all scorers with 22 points, but the Golden Eagles shot just 5 for 24 from 3-point range. Omaha’s defense forced 11 turnovers and recorded seven steals. Lance Waddles added 12 points and five assists for the Mavericks. Attendance was 4,747. Omaha improved to 9-11 overall, while Oral Roberts fell to 5-15.
