DAVIS, Calif. (Interstat) — Niko Rocak scored 17 points to lead UC Davis to a 75-72 victory over UC Irvine in a Big West Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at The Pavilion.

The teams were tied 42-42 at halftime before the Aggies used a 12-2 advantage in fastbreak points and 20 points off turnovers to secure the narrow win. Jurian Dixon led all scorers with 16 points for the Anteaters, who dominated inside with 34 paint points but fell short.

The win improves UC Davis to 11-7 overall. UC Irvine drops to 12-7. Attendance was 1,413.
