NEW YORK (Interstat) — Duquesne defeated Fordham 74-63 in an Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Rose Hill Gym. The Dukes improved to 10-8 overall, while the Rams fell to 10-9.

Duquesne led 30-27 at halftime and maintained control in the second half behind efficient shooting. The Dukes shot 45% from the field and made 10 three-pointers. Fordham struggled offensively, shooting just 36% overall and 4 for 28 from three-point range.

Jimmie Williams led Duquesne with 19 points. Cameron Crawford added 16 points and Tarence Guinyard had 11 points and nine assists. DeJour Reaves scored 17 points for Fordham. Attendance was 1,138.
