Saint Thomas (Minn.) at Oral Roberts

TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — A surging Saint Thomas (Minn.) team will look to continue its ascent in the Summit League standings when it visits struggling Oral Roberts on Saturday at the Mabee Center.

The Tommies (13-4, 2-0 Summit) have won five straight games and are off to a perfect start in conference play, most recently defeating South Dakota 99-86 on Wednesday. They are led by dynamic guard Nolan Minessale, who is coming off a 22-point, 12-assist performance in that victory. Over his last five games, Minessale is averaging 19.6 points and 6.0 assists per contest.

Oral Roberts (5-12, 0-2) seeks its first league win after two narrow road losses to open conference play. The Golden Eagles fell 79-77 in double-overtime at North Dakota State on Jan. 3. They are paced by forward Yuto YamanouchiWilliams, who scored 19 points in that defeat and is averaging 15.3 points over his last three games.

The matchup pits one of the Summit’s most efficient offenses against one of its most vulnerable defenses. Saint Thomas averages 85.2 points per game and has scored 92 or more points in four of its last five outings. Oral Roberts, conversely, allows 73.2 points per game and has lost eight of its last nine contests.

Saturday’s game will be the first meeting between the programs this season. They are scheduled to play again at Saint Thomas on Feb. 7.

Tip-off is set for Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, in Tulsa.
