AMES, Iowa (Interstat) — Iowa State remained undefeated Sunday, cruising to a 78-53 men’s basketball victory over Eastern Illinois at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones improved to 11-0 behind a balanced attack, while the Panthers fell to 2-8.

Iowa State built a commanding 44-28 halftime lead and never looked back. Milan Momcilovic led all scorers with 18 points. Blake Buchanan added 14 points and Joshua Jefferson scored 11 for the Cyclones. Kooper Jacobi and Zion Fruster each scored 11 points for Eastern Illinois.

A crowd of 13,876 watched the Cyclones dominate, extending their strong start to the season.
