SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — UC Riverside used a dominant first half and efficient offense to defeat San Diego 85-71 in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Friday night at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The Highlanders built a 10-point lead by halftime and maintained control throughout. UC Riverside shot 54.5% from the floor and was led by BJ Kolly, who scored 19 points. Vuk Boskovic led the Toreros with 14 points and five assists. The Highlanders improved to 3-3, while San Diego fell to 3-2.
