Georgia State at South Dakota State

BROOKINGS, S.D. (Interstat) — The South Dakota State Jackrabbits look to continue their home-court advantage when they host the struggling Georgia State Panthers in a nonconference men’s basketball game on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at Frost Arena.

South Dakota State (3-2) is coming off a dominant 94-46 victory over Peru State on Monday. Trey Buchanan led the way with 24 points, while Damon Wilkinson added 14 points and eight rebounds. The Jackrabbits are 2-0 at home this season.

Georgia State (1-4) seeks to end a two-game skid after falling 75-62 at Arizona State on Monday. Malachi Brown scored 15 points in the loss, and Jakai Newton nearly recorded a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The Panthers’ lone win was a 90-56 rout of Division II Fort Valley State on Nov. 13, but they have struggled against Division I competition, losing those four games by an average of 14 points.

The game pits Georgia State’s challenging early-season road schedule against a South Dakota State team that has found its rhythm in Brookings. The Jackrabbits will look to exploit their home floor before a quick turnaround to host Utah Valley on Nov. 25. The Panthers continue a five-game road trip before returning home to face Samford on Nov. 25.
