CHICAGO (Interstat) — Dylan Ducommun scored 24 points to lead Northern Illinois to a 76-59 victory over Loyola Chicago in a nonconference men’s basketball game Friday night at Joseph Gentile Center. The Huskies never trailed, building a 42-37 halftime lead and pulling away in the second half. Makhai Valentine added 17 points for Northern Illinois. Miles Rubin scored 16 points for the Ramblers, who shot poorly from the field. An announced crowd of 2,862 watched as the Huskies improved to 3-3, while Loyola Chicago dropped to 1-5.
