CHICAGO (Interstat) — Dylan Ducommun scored 24 points and Northern Illinois used a dominant second-half defensive performance to upset Loyola Chicago 76-59 in a nonconference men’s basketball game on Friday night at Joseph Gentile Center. The Huskies, who led 42-37 at halftime, held the Ramblers to just 22 points after the break, turning a close game into a comfortable victory in front of a crowd of 2,862. Northern Illinois set the tone early with a barrage of three-pointers.
