BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Interstat) — Two teams seeking momentum will meet Friday when the Fairfield Stags host the Stonehill Skyhawks in a non-conference men’s basketball game at Webster Bank Arena.

Both sides enter the contest with identical 1-2 records. Fairfield is coming off an 82-59 road loss to Seton Hall on Monday. Braden Sparks led the Stags with 20 points in that defeat. Their lone win was a 74-53 victory at NJIT on Nov. 8.

Stonehill also looks to rebound from a lopsided road loss, falling 80-57 at Rhode Island on Tuesday. Hermann Koffi paced the Skyhawks with 16 points in the contest. Stonehill’s single victory was a 100-48 rout of Thomas College to open the season on Nov. 3.

The game offers a chance for either team to get back to .500 before continuing their respective schedules. Fairfield will next host Loyola Maryland on Sunday. Stonehill is set for a quick turnaround, facing Loyola Maryland on Saturday in a neutral-site game also at Webster Bank Arena.
