CHENEY, Wash. (Interstat) — Eastern Washington cruised to an 88-57 men’s basketball victory over Northern Arizona on Saturday at Reese Court. The Eagles built a commanding 45-25 halftime lead and never looked back, shooting 64.3% from the floor as a team.

Alton Hamilton led all scorers with 23 points for Eastern Washington. Isaiah Shaw scored 13 points for the Lumberjacks, who shot just 44.9% and committed 16 turnovers. Eastern Washington improved to 13-17 overall, while Northern Arizona fell to 10-20.

An announced crowd of 2,024 watched the Eagles sweep the regular-season series after a loss at Northern Arizona in January. Both teams conclude their regular seasons Monday.
