MOREHEAD, Ky. (Interstat) — George Marshall scored 22 points to lead Morehead State to a 64-63 victory over Southern Indiana in an Ohio Valley Conference men’s basketball game Tuesday night at E.T. Johnson Arena.

The Eagles, who improved to 18-12, swept the season series by a combined five points, having also won in overtime in December. The Screaming Eagles fell to 7-21.

The teams were tied 29-29 at halftime. Morehead State built a narrow second-half lead and held on as Southern Indiana’s final possession failed to produce a winning basket.

Cardell Bailey led Southern Indiana with 17 points. Morehead State’s Anouar Mellouk added 12 points and five blocks. Attendance was 1,567.
