JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Interstat) — Jordan McCullum scored 24 points to lead East Tennessee State to a 73-61 men’s basketball victory over Chattanooga on Wednesday night at ETSU Athletic Center.

The Buccaneers (19-7, Southern) used a decisive 41-point second half to pull away from the Mocs (10-16). East Tennessee State capitalized at the free-throw line, making 26 of 35 attempts, while Chattanooga attempted only 12 free throws.

McCullum’s efficient performance paced the Buccaneers. Jordan Frison led Chattanooga with 15 points and five assists. The Buccaneers swept the regular-season series, having also won 67-66 on Jan. 21. A crowd of 4,854 attended the conference game.
