FORT WORTH, Texas (Interstat) — Xavier Edmonds scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lift Texas Christian to an 84-82 victory over Kansas State in a Big 12 Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Dickies Arena.

The Horned Frogs (14-9) never trailed in the second half but endured a late push from the Wildcats (10-13). Kansas State’s PJ Haggerty led all scorers with 30 points, while teammate Nate Johnson added 13 points and 11 assists. The teams were tied 42-42 after a first half featuring 10 lead changes. Texas Christian maintained a narrow advantage after halftime, with Edmonds scoring 16 of his points in the final period to secure the win before a crowd of 5,176.
