Utah Tech Outlasts Southern Utah in High-Scoring WAC Showdown

ST. GEORGE, Utah (Interstat) — Ethan Potter scored 29 points to lead Utah Tech to a 102-91 victory over Southern Utah in a Western Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Burns Arena.

The Trailblazers (11-11) used efficient offense, shooting 54.2% from the floor, to build a 52-43 halftime lead and never trailed in the second half. The Thunderbirds (7-14) were led by Jaiden Feroah’s 35 points and Elijah Duval’s 28 points but could not overcome Utah Tech’s balanced attack, which saw five players score in double figures.

Utah Tech committed only three turnovers and recorded six steals. A crowd of 3,833 watched the Trailblazers sweep the season series after a December win.
