Oklahoma vs. Marquette

CHICAGO (Interstat) — The Oklahoma Sooners and Marquette Golden Eagles will meet in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at LeClaire Park.

Oklahoma (4-2) enters the contest with momentum after a 72-53 home victory over Alcorn State last Sunday. The Sooners’ offense was led by Nijel Pack, who scored 17 points and dished out five assists. Derrion Reid added 16 points. The team’s two losses this season have come on the road against power-conference opponents Nebraska and Gonzaga.

Marquette (4-3) is looking to build on an 85-71 win over Central Michigan from last Saturday. In that game, Chase Ross delivered a standout performance with 27 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Zaide Lowery contributed 12 points and five assists. The Golden Eagles have struggled against high-major competition, with overtime losses to Dayton and Maryland among their three defeats.

The neutral-site game in Chicago presents a key test for both teams as they navigate their non-conference schedules. Oklahoma will look to secure a quality win away from home, while Marquette aims to establish consistency against a formidable opponent.

Following this game, Oklahoma will travel to face Wake Forest on Dec. 2. Marquette’s next contest is at home against Valparaiso on the same date.
